    It was great to meet you the other day at Starbucks. Who knew pickup technology has advanced so much!

    I'm fascinated by Mixolydian b6. If we take it in the key of D, for example, we get D E F# G A Bb C D. To me, that seems like G dorian with a sharp 7 that starts on the 5, if that makes sense. I'll have to think about it, but I think I've seen this key, mix. b6, many times in Irish music. Any idea on what the chord progression would be for mix b6?
